Google Discontinues Dark Web Report
Google is stopping its Dark Web Report feature, which used to check if your personal information was on the dark web.
This feature will be gone by February 16, 2026.
Google says it wants to focus on tools that help you protect your accounts better.
Instead of just telling you if your information was leaked, they want to give you tools to keep your accounts safe.
These tools include things like Security Checkup, passkeys, and Google Password Manager.
Google will still monitor threats but will do it in a way that is more helpful to users.
All data from the Dark Web Report will be deleted on February 16, 2026, but you can delete your monitoring profile earlier if you want.
