Nabard, APGB Partner to Finance Shrimp Farmers in Andhra
Imagine farmers growing shrimp.
Now, two banks, Nabard and APGB, teamed up with a company called Aqua Exchange to help these farmers.
They're giving loans so farmers can improve how they grow shrimp.
This includes using special tools, like the Internet of Things (IoT) to watch the water and take care of the shrimp.
The goal is to give farmers loans at good rates and help them avoid borrowing from people who might charge too much.
Also, Nabard is helping tribal families by giving them money to start farms with mango and cashew trees, which should earn them a good amount of money each year.
Nabard and APGB partnered with Aqua Exchange to support shrimp farmers.
The initiative will use IoT devices for better water quality and management.
