Vande Bharat Express to Halt at Reasi on Trial
The Katra–Srinagar Vande Bharat Express train, a fast train connecting Jammu and Kashmir, is adding a new stop.
Starting October 29th, the train will briefly stop at Reasi station to make it easier for people to get on and off.
This change is happening because locals wanted more stops.
The railway will watch how many people use the new stop for about five months to see if it's working well.
This train is already popular, making it easier for people to travel between Jammu and Kashmir.
The Katra-Srinagar Vande Bharat Express will begin stopping at Reasi station.
The new stop is in response to local requests for more convenient access.
The stop is scheduled to begin on October 29, on a trial basis.
The train will halt at Reasi for a duration of two minutes.
