Patna Students Breach Barricades During March Toward Chief Minister’s Residence

Students in Patna are protesting about government recruitment examinations.

Many of them want the BPSC teacher recruitment test to be held in one stage.

They also want the exam and hiring process to be more transparent.

Hindi-medium students are asking for fair opportunities.

The students marched from Gandhi Maidan and reached Dak Bungalow crossing.

Some protesters pushed past police barricades while trying to continue toward government buildings.

Police detained several people and used water cannons to disperse the crowd.

A police official said discussions with senior officers were positive and hoped the march would stop.

Student representatives and Tejashwi Yadav asked the chief minister to speak with them.
