Delhi Riots: Police Alleges Pre-Planned Conspiracy, SC Hears Bail Plea
The Delhi Police told the Supreme Court that the 2020 riots in Delhi were not spontaneous but a pre-planned conspiracy to divide society on communal lines.
The police is opposing the bail pleas of Umar Khalid, Sharjeel Imam, and other activists who are accused of being the 'masterminds' behind the riots.
The Supreme Court is currently hearing the Delhi Police's arguments against the bail pleas.
