Jennifer Lawrence on Losing Role to Margot Robbie
Jennifer Lawrence talked about not getting a part in a movie called Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
She said people thought she wasn't pretty enough to play a real person named Sharon Tate.
The role went to another actress, Margot Robbie.
Jennifer also mentioned that the movie director, Quentin Tarantino, had wanted her for another role before, but she turned it down.
She shared this story on a podcast and said she's not sure if the reason she didn't get the part was because of her looks or if people just said that online.
Jennifer Lawrence lost the role of Sharon Tate in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood to Margot Robbie.
She attributed the reason to not being considered 'pretty enough' for the part.
The role was for a real-life actress and model, Sharon Tate, a victim of the 1969 Manson Murders.
Jennifer also mentioned that Quentin Tarantino had wanted her for a role in The Hateful Eight, which she turned down.
She shared these thoughts during an appearance on the Happy Sad Confused with Josh Horowitz podcast.
