ILSS Launches DT4SI Toolbook to Advance Social Impact
India Leaders for Social Sector created a new online toolbook called DT4SI.
It is meant to help organisations that work for social causes use technology and artificial intelligence.
The toolbook explains what different tools do and which problems they may solve.
It also includes examples of organisations already using technology.
People can find training courses and possible technology providers there.
This can help organisations decide what they need before spending money.
ILSS says many organisations want to use technology but do not know where to start.
The project also hopes to help people learn from one another.
It may grow into a shared community for improving social work through technology.
India Leaders for Social Sector launched the Digital Transformation for Social Impact toolbook in Mumbai on September 8.
DT4SI brings together AI and digital tools, case studies, solution providers, pricing information and training resources for social purpose organisations.
The toolbook is designed to help organisations identify relevant technologies, build internal capabilities and move from awareness to action.
ILSS said social purpose organisations face uncertainty over technology choices, affordability, budgeting and implementation support.
The initiative aims to become a collaborative space for organisations, technology providers, practitioners and experts to share learning.
