Rajnath Singh Says India Is a Civilisational Power
Rajnath Singh said India sees itself as a civilisational power.
He said India does not want to replace the world order or leave other countries behind.
Instead, India wants to grow while helping the world grow too.
He described this as rising without breaking things and creating change without conflict.
Singh said wars today involve much more than soldiers fighting each other.
They can involve computers, satellites, drones, artificial intelligence and other technologies.
He said countries that lead in technology may have an advantage in battle.
He also said India tested a long-range hypersonic missile and a scramjet engine.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said India is neither a status quoist nor a revisionist power, but a civilisational power.
He said India seeks inclusive growth and aims to rise without rupture and bring positive change without conflict.
Singh said modern warfare spans land, air, sea, space, cyber, electronic and information domains, along with artificial intelligence and autonomous systems.
He said technological leadership will provide an advantage on future battlefields and outlined efforts to make India’s defence strategy future-ready.
Singh said India had conducted a flight trial of a long-range hypersonic missile and tested a long-duration scramjet engine.
