Karnataka Forms Cabinet Panel to Address Student Issues

Karnataka Forms Cabinet Panel to Address Student Issues

Karnataka has created a group of ministers to study problems faced by students.

U.T. Khader will lead the group.

The ministers will talk with students and listen to their concerns and ideas.

They will examine how to make exams and recruitment fairer and prevent question papers from leaking.

They will also study school fees and how coaching centres are regulated.

The group will check whether public schools and colleges have enough teachers, laboratories, libraries and hostels.

It will consider student mental health, equal access, job-related skills and links to employment.

The committee must give its recommendations to the state government within one month.
