Maddock's series is called the Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU), and it started with a funny scary movie called 'Stree'.
They don't always use famous movie stars, but their movies have made a lot of money, over 1500 crore rupees!
Their latest movies like 'Munjya' and 'Stree 2' did really well.
Yash Raj Films has a different kind of series called the Spy Universe, with secret agents and lots of action.
They use big famous actors like Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, which helps their movies make a lot of money too.
Their movie 'Pathaan' made over 1000 crore rupees!
Both companies are making more movies for their series, and people are excited to see who will do better at the movie ticket counters.
Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU) and Yash Raj Films' (YRF) Spyverse are major Bollywood franchises competing at the box office.
MHCU, which started with 'Stree' in 2018, has collectively grossed over ₹1500 crore worldwide and often features newcomers and character actors.
The YRF Spyverse relies heavily on star power, featuring actors like Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan, with 'Pathaan' being its highest-grossing film.
While MHCU has seen huge success with 'Stree 2' and 'Munjya', some films like 'Bhediya' and 'Thamma' did not meet expectations.
The YRF Spyverse has had a successful run with films like 'Tiger Zinda Hai' and 'War', though 'War 2' was a notable underperformer.
