Global Innovation Index: R&D Slows, China in Focus
Imagine a report card that grades how good countries are at creating new ideas.
This report, called the Global Innovation Index, says that even though we're seeing cool new technologies like AI, the rate at which countries are spending money to invent and research has slowed down a bit.
This means that while scientists are still making new things, the speed at which we're creating them is not as fast as it was.
The report tracks the progress of innovation worldwide.
The Global Innovation Index (GII) 2025 has been released.
