Assam STF Arrests Second Suspect in Alleged Espionage Case
Assam Police have arrested a second man in an investigation into alleged spying.
The man, Ritesh Kumar Singh, was arrested in Guwahati.
Police say he may have helped Abhishek Kumar Singh, who was arrested earlier in the same case.
Investigators allege Abhishek shared information about defence infrastructure and security-force movements with Pakistani handlers.
Police said they found a phone, SIM cards and restricted documents during the first arrest.
Officers are checking digital devices and possible financial transactions.
They are also trying to find out whether anyone else was involved.
The investigation is continuing.
