PU Sector-25 Campus to Get Student Center After Long Wait
Students at Panjab University's Sector-25 campus are getting a new Student Activity Centre!
This four-story building will have lots of cool spaces like reading rooms, places for clubs, a gym, and even a cafe.
It's been a long time coming, with plans starting in 2022 because the campus needed a dedicated spot for students to hang out and do activities.
The new building will be designed to focus on student life, unlike the other student center that's more commercial.
The plan also includes more academic buildings, a big parking garage, and a library.
They're also trying to finish a large auditorium, but it's been under construction for a long time.
Panjab University's Sector-25 campus will get a new four-story Student Activity Centre.
The project was approved after years of student demand and initial approval in February 2022.
The center will house reading rooms, club rooms, a gym, seminar space, galleries, and a cafe.
The Master Plan includes nine new academic blocks, a parking facility, and a library.
The multipurpose auditorium, under construction since 2009, awaits completion with a new tender issued.
