Kejriwal alleges E20 policy imposed under Trump pressure

Arvind Kejriwal is a leader of a political party in India called the Aam Aadmi Party.

He said India's government made a rule to mix more ethanol into fuel, which is called E20.

Ethanol is a fuel made from plants that can be produced in large amounts.

Kejriwal thinks the government made this rule because the President of the United States, Donald Trump, wanted India to buy ethanol from America.

He said India bought a lot of American ethanol last year and will buy even more this year.

Kejriwal said many cars, bikes and petrol stations in India are not ready for this new fuel.

He also said E20 fuel costs more and makes cars travel less distance.

So he asked people to wait before buying new petrol or diesel cars.

His party held an online meeting and started a petition against the E20 rule.

He believes that if people vote against the ruling party in the 2027 Goa elections, the government might remove the rule.
