River Revival Project Transforms Villages in Uttar Pradesh
Imagine some rivers in a place called Rampur were dried up.
But some people worked together to bring them back to life!
They cleaned them up and made sure water could flow again.
Because of this, over 100 villages got greener, and farmers could grow more crops.
One river, the Nahal, hadn't flowed in 60 years, but now it does.
They even used a special trick, like building hidden dams, to help the water.
This helped people get jobs too!
Nine rivers in Uttar Pradesh's Rampur district have been revived.
This initiative has transformed over 100 villages and benefited many farmers.
The Nahal River, dry for 60 years, now flows again due to the project.
Subsurface dam technology, used to revive the Sainani River, is a key method.
The projects have generated significant employment through MGNREGA.
