Delhi HC Seeks Response on Copyright Strikes Extortion
A content creator named Nitin Joshi has over 1.6 million followers on Instagram.
He made a video called 'Instagram’s Biggest Copyright Scam' where he said that some people are using copyright rules to scare creators and make them pay money to get their content back.
He asked other creators who had the same problem to share their stories.
The Delhi High Court is now asking Meta (the company that owns Instagram) and the Indian government to explain what they are doing about this issue.
