India Plans to Triple Exports by 2035
India wants to make a lot more things in the country and sell them to other countries.
By 2035, they want to sell three times as much as they do now.
They will focus on making things like computer chips, metals, and leather products.
The government will spend money to build places where these things can be made.
They will also make it easier for companies to follow rules and get the things they need to make these products.
This is their third big plan to make more things in India, and they hope this time it will work better than before.
The government is also asking for help from other companies to make it easier to send and receive goods.
India aims to triple its exports to $1.3 trillion annually by 2035 through manufacturing reforms.
The government will focus on 15 sectors, including high-end semiconductors, metals, and the leather industry.
Initial infrastructure funding of ₹10,000 crore ($1 billion) will be allocated for about 30 manufacturing hubs.
The plan emphasizes easing regulatory and compliance burdens rather than providing subsidies.
A new government panel will oversee the implementation, focusing on faster regulatory clearances and cheaper financing.
