SATG Holds Strategic Meet to Boost Telangana's KIYG Performance
The Sports Authority of Telangana Government (SATG) met with many sports groups in Hyderabad to get ready for the Khelo India Youth Games.
Dr A. Sonibala Devi, the SATG leader, talked about a plan that has three steps: picking athletes, a first training camp, and a main camp.
They discussed how long each step should last and what equipment and coaches are needed.
The goal is to find the best young athletes in Telangana and train them so they can win medals for the state.
More meetings will happen soon as the Games get closer.
SATG convened a strategic meeting with Telangana sports associations to prepare for the Khelo India Youth Games.
The meeting, chaired by Dr A. Sonibala Devi, focused on a three‑phase training roadmap: selection trials, first‑level camp, and core camp.
Discussions covered timelines, infrastructure, equipment, and coaching support needed for each sport.
SATG aims to identify and train the state’s most promising athletes to maximize medal prospects.
Further consultations will continue in upcoming weeks as the Games approach.
