Tripura to become data storage hub
Tripura is planning to become a big place for storing data in the northeast part of India.
The Chief Minister, Manik Saha, started building a new data centre worth Rs 200 crore.
This will help the state meet the growing need for data storage.
Right now, Tripura has three data centres, but they are not enough.
The new centre will also create jobs for IT professionals in Tripura, so they don't have to move to big cities like Bengaluru or Mumbai.
The Prime Minister wants India to increase its data storage capacity by 2030.
