Mubi Sets December Release for Sorrentino's 'La Grazia'

Imagine a movie about the President of Italy, Mariano De Santis.

He's a widower and Catholic, and his daughter is a lawyer.

As his term ends, he must make important choices, like whether to pardon people.

These decisions become intertwined with his personal life.

The movie is written and directed by Paolo Sorrentino and stars Toni Servillo and Anna Ferzetti.

Mubi will release it in December in the U.S. and Canada after receiving a standing ovation at the Venice Film Festival.
