BJP challenges Rahul Gandhi to join NEET debate in Parliament

BJP challenges Rahul Gandhi to join NEET debate in Parliament

Many students in India were upset because they thought the answers to a big medical entrance test called the NEET examination were leaked before the exam.

They protested, and the argument reached the Indian Parliament in New Delhi.

The Bharatiya Janata Party, also called the BJP, leads the government.

The Home Minister, Amit Shah, wrote a letter to the Lok Sabha Speaker, Om Birla, asking him to talk to the opposition about holding a debate.

The BJP then challenged Rahul Gandhi, a leader of the Congress party, to take part in that debate.

BJP leaders said Gandhi had asked for a discussion, so now he should show up in the House.

They also said the opposition keeps stopping Parliament from working.

They called this 'politics of disruption' and said it wastes taxpayers' money.

The BJP says the government is ready for a full-fledged debate and will answer all questions raised by the opposition.

Some BJP leaders said the opposition has an 'anarchist mindset' for preventing Parliament from functioning.
