Palantir Stock Dips After Report of Security Flaws
Palantir's stock went down after a report said their communications system, used on the battlefield, had security problems.
The system, also used by a company called Anduril, was said to have weaknesses that could let people steal information or cause damage.
The Army had concerns about this.
Palantir and Anduril said that the problems had been fixed and the report was out of date.
A general said that finding and fixing these kinds of problems is a normal part of making new technology better.
Despite this, Palantir's stock dropped, though it has increased significantly in the past few years.
Palantir's stock fell more than 8% on Friday.
The drop followed a report of security flaws in their battlefield communication system.
The report cited an Army memo expressing concerns.
Palantir said the issues in the report have been addressed.
