India, China Review LAC Situation, Boundary Delimitation in Talks
India and China are two big countries that share a very long border.
Sometimes they do not agree on exactly where the border line should be.
To talk calmly about this, leaders from both countries hold special meetings.
They recently held their 36th such meeting in New Delhi.
At the meeting, they talked about the border line and how to manage the area.
They also talked about rivers that flow between the two countries.
They agreed to keep talking through official channels to solve problems and avoid misunderstandings.
Around the same time, a video on social media showed soldiers from both armies standing near each other and claimed the Chinese army had crossed the border.

Indian Joint Secretary (East Asia) Sujit Ghosh and Chinese Director General Hou Yanqi led their respective delegations.
Both sides agreed to continue using diplomatic and military channels, including local commander-level meetings, to resolve outstanding issues and avoid misunderstanding along the LAC.
Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu dismissed as false a viral video alleging a fresh standoff and 60km Chinese intrusion in Taksing.
