'Sexual assault' cases filed against KTR, Harish Rao
Police in Hyderabad have registered cases against some Bharat Rashtra Samithi lawmakers.
The cases relate to a protest at the Legislative Assembly on September 7.
A woman police constable said the lawmakers shouted at women officers and tried to push past them.
She also alleged that some lawmakers removed their shirts and behaved in an insulting way.
The police said the officers were frightened and humiliated.
The complaint was filed after videos and photographs of the incident circulated.
The cases include allegations of sexual harassment, assault and obstructing public servants.
