ED Seizes ₹600 Crore in Dhanbad Coal Crackdown

The Enforcement Directorate, a government agency, raided more than 30 places in Dhanbad, a coal‑rich city in India.

They found a lot of hidden money and property that people were using to hide the profits from illegal coal mining.

The agency froze about ₹160 crore in mutual‑fund shares and took over ₹1 crore in cash.

They also seized documents and digital devices that could show how the money was moved.

The goal is to stop the coal mafia and make sure the money is not used for bad things.
