AAP Leader Booked for Threatening Merchant
A man named Niranjan Vasava, who is the leader of the Aam Aadmi Party in Narmada district, was reported to the police.
The report says he threatened another man, Manish Vasava, who is a driver.
Manish had done some work for Niranjan in 2023 and was supposed to be paid Rs 1.86 lakh.
But Niranjan didn't pay, and they had a big argument.
Manish then went to the police and said Niranjan threatened him.
Now, the police have started a case against Niranjan for not paying and for threatening Manish.
Niranjan Vasava, AAP Narmada district president, was booked for criminal breach of trust and criminal intimidation.
Manish Vasava, a driver, accused Niranjan of threatening him over an unpaid amount of Rs 1.86 lakh.
The incident occurred in 2023 when Manish was engaged to install paver blocks in Niranjan's village.
Niranjan allegedly promised to pay the amount within six months but failed to do so.
An FIR was lodged at Rajpipla police station on Wednesday night.
