Saksham Tate Murder Case: Mother and Lover Attempt Self-Immolation
A young man named Saksham Tate was murdered, and his mother and his lover, Aanchal Mamidwar, tried to set themselves on fire to protest.
They say two police officers encouraged the murder.
The police have arrested Aanchal's brothers and father for the murder.
The victim and the main accused were once friends but had a fallout, possibly due to caste differences.
The police are investigating the allegations against the officers.
Saksham Tate's mother and his lover, Aanchal Mamidwar, attempted to set themselves on fire outside the Nanded collector's office.
They allege that two police personnel instigated Mamidwar's brother to murder Saksham.
Police have arrested Mamidwar's two brothers and father in connection with the murder.
The murder is believed to be a fallout of caste differences between the victim and Mamidwar.
An inquiry into the allegations against the police personnel is being conducted by an Additional SP-rank officer.
