Released CJP Leader Slams Modi, Vows to Continue Protest

Three leaders from the Cockroach Janta Party were detained after their plane landed in Delhi.

They had planned to protest at Jantar Mantar.

An executive magistrate ordered their release, with a condition that they keep the peace for one year.

Afterward, Abhijeet Dipke criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The party says it will keep protesting until Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar resigns.

It says its protest is about alleged problems in a voter-list revision.

Delhi Police planned security measures and traffic changes.

The report also said the Supreme Court was scheduled to hear a petition about restrictions on metro and train services.
