Canada Issues Express Entry Invitations to Foreign Nationals

Canada is inviting some people from other countries to become permanent residents.

This is done through a program called Express Entry, where people are ranked based on things like their skills and education.

Recent draws have sent out invitations to apply.

In the latest draw, the lowest score to get an invitation was 800.

Also, the rules for the program have changed slightly, meaning that in some cases, having a job offer doesn't give you extra points anymore.

The ranking system helps Canada decide who can come and live there permanently.
