Students Protest Alleged Islamophobia at Jadavpur University
Two students at Jadavpur University held a poster saying 'There is no place for Islamophobia at Jadavpur University' during their graduation ceremony.
They were protesting an incident where a teacher asked a student wearing a hijab to partially remove it during an exam to check for cheating.
The students felt this was unfair and hurtful.
The university says they are looking into the matter.
Some teachers say they were just doing their job to stop cheating, and that the student was cooperative.
The Students' Federation of India (SFI) said the protest was not their idea.
