Google Maps India Gets AI Upgrade with Gemini Integration

Imagine your phone's map app just got a super smart helper called Gemini!

In India, Google Maps now has this helper.

You can talk to it using your voice, like saying "Hey Google, find a good restaurant nearby."

Gemini can tell you cool things about places, like what's special there or if there's parking, so you don't have to read lots of reviews.

If you ride a scooter or motorbike, you can even pick a fun special icon for your map.

The app will also try to warn you about roads where accidents happen a lot, making your trip safer.

It can even tell you about traffic jams before you get stuck, and show you where restrooms or food stops are on long drives.

This new update is like giving Google Maps a brain to help you travel better and more safely.
