Eli Lilly Cuts Zepbound Weight Loss Drug Price
Eli Lilly, a big medicine company, has lowered the price of their weight loss drug called Zepbound.
They are doing this to help more people who need it.
The lowest dose now costs $299 a month, and the higher doses cost $399 and $449 a month.
This is the second time they have lowered the price.
The company wants to make it easier for people to get this medicine, especially those who have trouble paying for it.
They are also working with the government to make the drug even more affordable in the future.
Eli Lilly has cut the price of Zepbound by up to 20% on its direct-to-consumer platform, LillyDirect.
The lowest dose of Zepbound now costs $299 per month, a discount of about $50.
Higher doses are available at $399 and $449 per month under the Zepbound Self Pay Journey Program.
