ACB Seizes ₹100–150 Crore Assets from Telangana Engineer
The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) found a lot of valuable things like houses, gold, and cars worth ₹100–150 crore from an engineer named Mutyam Venkata Ramana.
The ACB thinks he got this money by doing bad things while working as an engineer.
They found these things in his house, office, and other places connected to him.
The ACB also found that he had a lot of money in banks and some gold.
They think he used his wife's name to buy some of these things.
The ACB is still checking to see if there are more things he has.
Ramana was also caught taking a bribe before, and now he will go to court while the ACB keeps looking into his money and other things.
The ACB seized assets worth ₹100–150 crore from Mutyam Venkata Ramana, a Divisional Engineer of REDCO.
Assets include residential flats, commercial buildings, gold, bank deposits, vehicles, and other valuables.
Ramana allegedly channelled investments into real estate and construction through firms registered in his wife’s name.
The ACB seized bank deposits, gold ornaments, vehicles, household articles, and liquor.
Ramana was earlier caught in a bribery trap in 2019 and will be produced before a special judge for judicial remand.
