British Museum seeks treasure hunter for stolen artefacts
The British Museum had some of its treasures stolen by a former worker.
They have found some of them, but they need help to find the rest.
So, they are looking for a special person, like a treasure hunter, to help them get their stolen things back.
This is similar to how people used to take artefacts from other countries a long time ago, but now they want to get them back.
The British Museum is seeking a treasure hunter to recover stolen artefacts.
1,500 objects, including gold jewellery and semi-precious stones, were stolen over the years.
The thefts are allegedly linked to the museum's former curator for Greece and Rome.
The museum has recovered more than a third of the stolen items with the help of its staff.
The museum now aims to hire a dedicated hunter to track down the remaining stolen artefacts.
