MP Police Forms SIT to Investigate Minister's Remarks
The Madhya Pradesh police are investigating a minister named Vijay Shah.
He made some upsetting comments about a Colonel.
The Supreme Court told the police to create a special team to look into it.
This team will report back to the Supreme Court with what they find.
The court was not happy with the minister's words.
Madhya Pradesh Police formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe Vijay Shah's remarks.
The SIT was constituted by the DGP in compliance with the Supreme Court's direction.
Sagar IG Pramod Verma leads the three-member SIT.
The Supreme Court has directed the SIT to investigate the FIR against Shah.
The court stated Shah's comments were "crass, thoughtless remarks."
