Rajasthan Achieves 100% Voter Roll Digitization
Rajasthan has become the first state in India to fully digitize its voter lists.
This means all voter information is now available online.
The state has also mapped over 97% of voters, so most people won't need to show extra documents to verify their information.
The chief election officer said this was made possible by the hard work of many people, including local officials.
The updated voter list will be published in December, and people can make changes or corrections until mid-January.
The final list will be ready by mid-February.
This makes voting easier and more reliable for everyone in Rajasthan.
Rajasthan completed 100% digitization of its electoral roll under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR).
The state leads in voter mapping with 97% completion, reducing the need for document submission by voters.
High-quality mapping has simplified the SIR process, making it more transparent and reducing repeated verifications.
The draft electoral roll will be published on December 16, 2023, with claims and objections accepted until January 15, 2024.
The final electoral roll is scheduled for publication on February 14, 2024.
