PM Modi Honors Brave Sahibzades on Veer Baal Diwas
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the Veer Baal Diwas celebrations on December 26, 2025, in New Delhi.
This event honors the bravery of two young sons of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, who were martyred.
The government is organizing activities like storytelling and competitions to teach people about their sacrifice.
During the event, twenty children from different states, including Shravan Singh, will receive the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar for their outstanding achievements.
Shravan Singh, a 10-year-old boy from Punjab, was awarded for his bravery in delivering milk, tea, and lassi to soldiers during Operation Sindoor.
The celebration aims to remember the courage of the Sahibzadas and recognize the accomplishments of children.
PM Modi announced this day in 2022 to commemorate the martyrdom of the Sahibzades.
Additionally, BJP national working president Nitin Nabin offered prayers at Gurdwara Bangla Sahib on the martyrdom anniversary of the sons of Guru Gobind Singh.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the Veer Baal Diwas celebrations on December 26, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
The event honors the courage and sacrifice of Sahibzadas Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji, sons of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
Twenty children from 18 States and Union Territories, including Shravan Singh, will receive the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar for outstanding achievements in diverse fields.
Shravan Singh, a 10-year-old boy from Punjab, was awarded for his bravery in delivering milk, tea, and lassi to soldiers during Operation Sindoor, India's counterstrike against Pakistan in May 2025.
