APSEZ Completes NQXT Acquisition, Raises FY26 Guidance
Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ) has finished buying a big terminal in Australia called NQXT.
This purchase is so important that the company has increased its expectations for how much money it will make and how much cargo it will handle in the next financial year.
The terminal is in a place with lots of resources and helps send out big items like coal and minerals.
It's a good deal because the terminal has steady income and is in a great location.
APSEZ now has more places around the world where it can handle cargo, which helps it reach its goal of handling 1 billion tonnes of cargo every year by 2030.
The stock price of APSEZ ended flat on the day of the announcement, but it has seen significant highs and lows over the past year.
APSEZ completed the acquisition of Australia’s NQXT after meeting all regulatory and shareholder approvals.
FY26 EBITDA guidance raised to ₹22,350–23,350 crore from ₹21,000-22,000 crore.
FY26 cargo volume guidance revised upwards to 545-555 MMT from 505-515 MMT.
NQXT has a capacity of 50 million tonnes per annum and operates under take-or-pay contracts.
NQXT contributed 6% of APSEZ’s revenue and 7% of its EBITDA in FY25.
