Substandard Medicines Found in JP Hospitals
In a hospital in Bhopal, some medicines given to patients were found to be not good.
One medicine had mold in it, and another had tiny particles like insects.
The hospital has started checking all their medicines to make sure they are safe.
They think the problem might be because the place where they keep the medicines is always wet.
They are also sending some of the medicines to a lab to test them.
Two complaints about substandard medicines surfaced in JP Hospital, Bhopal.
One complaint was about mold in Diclofenac tablets, another about insect-like particles in Chlorhexidine mouthwash.
A five-member special investigation team has been formed to probe the issue.
Samples of the mouthwash have been sent for lab testing.
Dampness in the hospital's drug store is suspected to be the cause of medicine deterioration.
