Indore's Historic School Transforms into Modern Learning Hub
A very old government school in Indore is getting a big upgrade.
It's being turned into a super modern school with lots of new things.
There are 92 new classrooms for about 2,500 students, and even a special area for very young kids.
The school has science labs, computers, a big library, and even a system that turns waste into clean energy.
It's also very safe with fire systems and cameras.
There's a big hall for shows and a play area for kids.
This shows that government schools can be just as good as private ones.
Ahilya Ashram Government Higher Secondary School in Indore is being transformed into a state-of-the-art CM Rise School.
The four-storey academic block, costing Rs 30 crore, was completed in December 2025 and will be inaugurated this month.
The new campus features 92 classrooms, a dedicated pre-primary block, subject-wise laboratories, and a modern computer lab.
Safety measures include fire-fighting systems, CCTV surveillance, and ramps for differently-abled students, with lifts to be added soon.
The school promotes sustainability with a biodigester system that converts organic waste into biogas and natural manure.
