Biocon Biologics Secures European Market Entry for Denosumab Biosimilars
Biocon Biologics, a company that makes similar versions of expensive medicines called biosimilars, has made a deal with another company called Amgen.
This deal lets Biocon sell its medicines, Vevzuo and Evfraxy, in Europe and other countries starting from December 2, 2025.
Earlier, they made a similar deal for the United States.
The boss of Biocon Biologics said this will help more people get these medicines at a lower cost.
The medicines are used to treat cancer and bone health problems.
The company's shares are worth about Rs 395.25 each, and the whole company is worth Rs 52,843 crore.
Biocon Biologics has secured a market entry date for its Denosumab biosimilars Vevzuo and Evfraxy in Europe and the rest of the world starting December 2, 2025.
The agreement follows a similar settlement achieved in the United States earlier in October.
The settlement allows Biocon Biologics to expand its reach in oncology and bone health therapeutic areas.
Biocon Biologics had already secured a market entry date for its Denosumab biosimilars Bosaya and Aukelso in the United States.
The settlement is expected to strengthen Biocon's position in the global biosimilars market and support the expansion of affordable biologics.
