VCK Submits Tamil Nationalism Conference Resolutions to CM Vijay
In the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, a leader named Thol Thirumavalavan leads a political party called VCK.
He met the state's Chief Minister, C Joseph Vijay, and gave him a list of ideas.
The ideas came from a gathering called the Tamil Nationalism Conference.
One big idea was for Tamil Nadu to have more power to make its own decisions instead of the national government.
The VCK leader asked the Chief Minister to support this idea.
He also said his party will support the government led by the Chief Minister's party, TVK.
In the state assembly, a lawmaker named EV Velu asked questions about a big contract to move the Chief Minister's office.
He thought the contract was not fair or clear.
A minister named Aadhav Arjuna said the reports about the contract were wrong.
The government says it will share more details about how it makes contracts soon.
VCK president Thol Thirumavalavan submitted Tamil Nationalism Conference resolutions to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay, seeking support for greater state autonomy from the Union government.
VCK urged the Chief Minister to take up the demand for state autonomy on behalf of the Tamil Nadu government.
