Churches Aid Hyderabad Voters in SIR Process
In Hyderabad, Christian and Catholic groups have set up help desks to assist voters during a special update of the voter list.
About 50 trained coordinators are helping people who are having trouble with their voter information.
Many workers can't be home when officials visit, and some forms are hard to understand because they're not in both languages.
Volunteers are also helping people find their names on the list, fix mistakes, and complete the forms.
They are visiting churches and helping elderly voters, especially those who have moved or whose names are spelled wrong.
The groups are asking everyone to submit their forms so no one loses the right to vote.
