IPL 2026 Auction: Young Talents and Base Prices
The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 auction is happening soon, and many young cricketers are ready to join the teams.
There are 350 players from all over the world, including 240 from India and 110 from other countries.
Some of the youngest players, like RS Ambrish and Wahidullah Zadran, are just 18 years old.
These players have shown great talent in their games and might get picked by the IPL teams.
The auction will take place in Abu Dhabi on December 16, 2025.
Players decide their own base prices, which can range from ₹30 lakh to ₹2 crore.
The highest base price is ₹2 crore, and 40 players have opted for this bracket.
The base price is a strategic decision, as a higher price can increase the risk of a player getting unsold, while a lower price can attract more franchises and start a bidding war.
