Delhi CM Defends Against AAP Attacks
Rekha Gupta, the Chief Minister of Delhi, spoke in the Delhi Assembly about how the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has been making fun of her through memes and personal attacks.
She said that the AAP leaders are uncomfortable with a woman leading Delhi and are targeting her for small mistakes she made while speaking.
Gupta defended herself by saying that her mistakes were accidental, unlike the intentional actions of the AAP.
She also highlighted the achievements of her government in the past 11 months, such as working towards making public transport electric and setting up new canteens for the poor.
She accused the AAP of lying to the people and building a fancy house for themselves, which they had promised not to do.
Additionally, the government presented a budget of Rs 1 lakh crore for 2025–26, focusing on road infrastructure, Yamuna rejuvenation, and other key projects.
Rekha Gupta accused AAP of targeting her for minor verbal slips and making memes to mock her.
She claimed that AAP leaders are uncomfortable with a woman leading Delhi and are trying to tarnish her image.
Gupta defended her government's achievements in 11 months, including plans for 100% electric public transport and free travel for women.
She accused AAP of intentional lies and corruption, referring to their construction of 'Sheeshmahal' despite earlier promises.
Gupta highlighted the opening of 100 Atal Canteens to ensure no one in Delhi goes hungry.
