STL Expands Neuralis Data Center Portfolio With Fiber Trunk Assemblies
STL has introduced new fiber-optic cable assemblies for data centers.
Data centers need these cables to move large amounts of information quickly.
The new products can carry between 48 and 6,912 fibers in one assembly.
Some are made for indoor use, while others can be used indoors or outdoors.
Customers can choose different connector types and fiber designs.
The cables are built to save space in networks with many connections.
STL says each assembly is tested at the factory before delivery.
The company says this can help data centers add capacity more quickly.
Sterlite Technologies Limited announced new Pre-Terminated Fiber Trunk Assemblies for its Neuralis Data Center portfolio.
The assemblies range from 48 fibers to 6,912 fibers for hyperscale and enterprise data centers.
Indoor versions support 48F–576F, while indoor/outdoor versions support 144F–6,912F configurations.
The products offer MMC, MTP/MPO, and LC terminations across Base-8, Base-12, Base-16, and Base-24 formats.
STL said the assemblies use IBR rollable ribbon technology, are factory tested, and can be delivered ready to connect.
