BJP Prepares for Leadership Rejig with Nitin Nabin
The BJP is getting ready to make some big changes.
Nitin Nabin, a young leader from Bihar, is expected to become the new party chief soon.
This change might also lead to a reshuffle in the government cabinet.
The goal is to include more younger leaders and people from the Jat community.
The BJP and its ideological mentor, the RSS, are working together to make sure that leaders who have been with them for a long time get important roles.
These changes are expected to happen after a few important dates, like Makar Sankranti and before the budget session starts.
Nitin Nabin, a 45-year-old five-time Bihar MLA, is expected to become the new BJP national president around mid-January, succeeding J P Nadda.
Nabin's election will be ratified by the BJP's National Council, likely by the end of this month.
A potential cabinet reshuffle is expected, focusing on younger leaders and better representation for the Jat community.
The BJP and RSS are working together to ensure better coordination and to give important roles to long-time members.
New appointments are expected after Makar Sankranti and before the budget session starts in early February.
