Panvel RTO Launches New Vehicle Series
The Panvel RTO is starting a new car registration series called MH46DF because the old one is almost full.
They are asking people who want special or favorite car numbers to apply.
You can apply on December 23, 2025, at the RTO office.
If more than one person wants the same number, there will be an auction on December 24, 2025.
You need to bring a special paper called a demand draft and some copies of your ID and address proof.
If you win the auction, you have to register your car within 180 days, or you will lose the money you paid.
The new series will only start after the old one is completely used up.
Panvel RTO introduces new four-wheeler registration series MH46DF as MH46DA nears exhaustion.
Applications for preferred numbers accepted on December 23, 2025, between 10 am and 2.30 pm at RTO Panvel office.
Applicants must submit a demand draft, proof of residence, identity card, PAN card, and Aadhaar card.
Auction for contested numbers on December 24, 2025, at 3.30 pm with a minimum additional bid of Rs 301.
Reserved numbers cannot be changed and must be used within 180 days; fees are non-refundable.
