Telangana High Court Rules on Waqf, ACB and Nizam Cases

Telangana High Court Rules on Waqf, ACB and Nizam Cases

The Telangana High Court decided issues in three different cases.

In the first case, people said their land was wrongly listed as Waqf property.

The court said the Waqf Board needed to show records proving that the required survey and inquiry had happened.

Because those records were not produced, the land notification was cancelled.

In another case, the court allowed an important witness to be questioned again in an Anti-Corruption Bureau trial.

However, it fined the prosecution Rs 5,000 because it had waited too long to request this.

In the third case, the court refused to stop a family property dispute involving palaces linked to the former Nizam.

It said the trial court should first hear evidence before deciding the court-fee issue.
