Mysuru Woman's Suicide Note Alleges Workplace Harassment, No Weekly Off

A woman named Nageshwari worked at a store called Reliance Mart in Mysuru, India.

Her job was to promote products made by a company called Tata.

Nageshwari was very sad because she said people at her work were being mean to her.

She said her bosses picked on her for things that were not her fault.

She also said she did not get a weekly day off for four months and was not allowed to take emergency leave.

She said she lost her job after she asked why she was being treated so badly.

Sadly, Nageshwari drank poison and died.

Before she died, she left a note saying a supervisor called Dolly had harassed her.

Her mother, Rathnamma, is asking the police to find the people responsible and punish them.

Police are now investigating what happened.
